Conor has over twenty years' insurance and risk management experience having lived and worked in the Cayman Islands, British Virgin Islands, Guernsey, Singapore, Hong Kong, London and Dublin. Conor has had first-hand experience in managing the captive insurance companies of many international organisations involved in transport, banking, law, healthcare, exploration & mining, and manufacturing.
Before specialising in captive insurance, Conor was an insurance underwriter and claims manager with a large, British owned multi-national insurance company.
Conor is a Fellow of both the Chartered Insurance Institute and the Institute of Risk Management and is also a member of STEP, the Society of Trust and Estate Practioners. He has lectured on insurance and risk management all around the world from Beijing to Miami to Jakarta and has written numerous articles on the subjects, specialising in captive insurance.
